The Piedmont House of Savoy rulers built a network of castles, palaces and residences on the outskirts of Turin where they used to spend leisure time. Racconigi Castle, surrounded by a huge park, is the one they cherished the most, spending their summers there until the mid 1940s. For this reason, the residence is completely decorated with furniture and memorabilia that make you feel as if the queen has just left the room. It can be conveniently reached by public transportation (train).
